The Central region have been sweltering in long- lasting scorching heat with temperatures hitting 38-39 degrees Celsius which is a favorable condition to trigger a risk of forest fire, high ultraviolet (UV) and lacking water at reservoirs, affecting health and life of people.
Meanwhile, a low pressure trough caused medium- heavy rainfalls, cyclone, lighting and violent winds in the northern provinces and cities after the warmest days.
The northern mountainous provinces of Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Cao Bang and Lao Cai are warned flash flood.
Because of powerful operation of the southwest monsoon, the Southern provinces and cities are experiencing bad weather condition of heavy downpours and thunderstorms on the large scale being able to cause landslides at riversides and near sea dykes.
