A cold wave is moving to the southern region this morning, said the National Center for Hydro Meteorological & Forecasting.

The center forecast tomorrow on November 7, a cold spell will hit several part of the northern mountainous region then continue moving to the east northern and north northern, west northern.

From tomorrow night on, the northern provinces will see cold weather. The lowest temperature will swing 17 to 20 degrees Celsius, it will be 15 to 17 degrees Celsius in the northern mountainous areas.

Due to the impacts of cold spell, tonight prolonged rains are forecast to hit the northern region. Tomorrow, the north and central region will experience torrential rains, strong winds and thunderstorms.

From November 7 to 10, the rivers in the central provinces of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and from Binh Dinh to Khanh Hoa will appear floods. The landslides will be able to occur in low-lying areas therefore local authorities need to keep close watch on weather forecast.
