Particularly, a range of tropical convergence has just formed in the northern part of the East Sea, connecting with a low- pressure zone and powerful wind of the southwest monsoon, which might be able to trigger showers, thunderstorm, cyclone, big waves, rough sea and violent winds in territorial waters along Binh Thuan to Ca Mau, the Gulf of Thailand and the Spratly Islands.
Due to the tropical convergence range, the Northern mainland provinces including Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will brace small- medium rainfalls and thunderstorm.
It is noted that drought warning follows the rain and flood season in the Central region on August 6-10.
