Vietnam wins two championships at International Robothon Competition 2015

Two teams from Hoa Lu Primary School in Da Nang city and the Book Square Club in Hanoi excellently won two championships at the 2015 International Robothon Competition at Phu Tho Sport Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City on November 29.

This is the second times that Vietnam hosted the large scale event. This year’s competition attracted the participation of 122 teams from primary schools, secondary schools in Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam. Vietnam sent 72 teams to the 2015 International Robothon Competition.
 
All participants had to schedule for robotic, collect data from the earth’s surface, and analyze seed.
 
The annual Robothon is considered as a useful playground for students to acquire knowledge and skills in the fields of science, technology and integration in mathematics.
 
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training organized a solemn ceremony to welcome students returning home from the 2015 International Olympiad in Beijing (China) yesterday evening.
              
As the final result, Vietnamese students won one gold, seven silver and six bronze medals in the secondary school category; and nine silver and three bronze medals in primary school category.
