The jewelry area locates in Nhieu Tam, Nghia Thuc and Bui Huu Nghia streets in Ward 5 of the district.
Since starting operation in the 1980s, the area has been developing with over 60 businesses and households, selling diversified types of skillful made products modern technologies.
According to Mr. Pham Quoc Huy, chairman of the District 5 People’s Committee, the jewelry town with logo and identification signs will be developed into a sightseeing and shopping destination, serving domestic and foreign investors.
The district has arranged four stopping points at four shops in the area for visitors to learn about jewelry production and processing process.
