Ongoing cold front in combination with the east wind convergence is expected to bring the average rainfall of 100- 150 mm especially reaching up 200- 300 mm in provinces from Thua Thien- Hue to Binh Dinh, even over 350 mm in some places.
Due to powerful operation of the cold spell, offshore waters from Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa provinces has suffered the gusty wind of level 6-8 and big waves of 2- 4 meters in height.
The rainy and cold weather is predicted to grip the country in coming days; in particular, the northern and high mountainous areas are going to face the minimum chilly temperature of 8-15 degrees Celsius and showers.
South- central provinces from Da Nang to Binh Thuan have experienced heavy to heavy downpours, thunderstorms, cyclone, lightning and high air humidity of 67- 98 percent. The lowest temperature have been around 21- 24 degrees Celsius.
Both the south and the central highlands regions will suffer bad weather such as showers, gusty wind of level 2-3, air humidity of 55- 96 percent, circus cloud and the lowest temperature of 18- 26 degrees Celsius.
