HCMC set to suffer from more thundery showers in middle of week

This week is forecast to be set for widespread thundery showers along with a chance of lightning, cyclone and whirlwinds in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern region.

According to the National Center for Hydrology Meteorology Forecasting, a low-pressure trough connecting with the southwest monsoon is lashing the Southern region.

Hence, both Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern provinces and cities are expected to experience more thundery showers from the middle of the week.
