“Goni” storm with wind speeds of level 16-17

“Goni” storm was located yesterday at 20, 2 degrees north latitude and 122, 6 degrees east longitude, at 300 kilometers on the southeastern water of Taiwan Island, reported the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center.

The strongest wind speeds near the center gusted up to level 14- 17.

In next 24- 48 hours, the storm is predicted to move northeastward at 26, 4 degrees north latitude and 126, 4 degrees east longitude on Japan’s Kyusyu Island. The strong wind speeds will sustain at level 13- 16.

In addition, because of the strong operation of the northwest monsoon, the southern territorial waters from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau provinces and Spratly Island will see wind speeds of level 5- 8, 2- 3 meters big waves, sea rough.
