Cold spells hit Hanoi while HCMC remains hot

Heavy drizzles and the highest temperature of 5- 6 degrees Celsius have occurred in Sa Pa- Lao Cai tourism area. Meanwhile, cold air with its temperature of 16 degrees Celsius shouldered over Hanoi city in early morning. Today, the temperature in northern region continues to fall to 1 degree Celsius.

On the contrary, the areas of Ho Chi Minh City and southeast, south central provinces are suffering to prolonged hot weather with 35- 37 degrees Celsius without rain and air moisture reduction.

By March 27, the highest temperature in Ho Chi Minh City continues to increase at 1 degree Celsius.
