Cold spell hits north on May 7

Low-pressure system at 24 to 27 degrees north-attitude caused by the combined effects of hot low-pressure in the west is developing in the east. Therefore, tomorrow May 7, low-pressure system will cause cold spell in the north.

On May 7, the northwest- northern region and the central provinces from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen will suffer heat wave with the highest temperature ranging from 35 to 37degrees Celsius. Several part of the above-mentioned region can be hit 38 degrees Celsius at 12am to 16pm.

In the central highlands province and the southern region continue facing torrential rains and thunderstorm, strong wind in the afternoon.
