The rainy weather condition was due to an impact of the continental cold high pressure in combination with an operation of the upper- east wintry spell. Medium- heavy rainfalls are expected to last until this weekend.
Meanwhile, the high tide in Ho Chi Minh City and Southern coastal provinces are expected to peak on November 27- 28. Water levels on Mekong River and Sai Gon River will reach alert level 1 or 2, even at alarm level 3 at Phu An Station.
Low- lying areas along riverbanks suffer a high risk of flooding in the next couple days.
