At least 58 dead and missing due to heavy rain & flooding
The National Steering Committee on Natural Disaster Prevention said that the natural disasters of tropical heavy rain, flashflood, landslide and tropical- low depression caused 27 dead, 19 missing and 12 injured in the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Son La, Hoa Binh, Yen Bai, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa and Quang Tri.

The statistics showed that 106 houses and thousands of vegetable and fruit crops were destroyed; 3,457 houses were sunk under water.
Amid to the complicated weather, 135 households in Yen Bai, Son La, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh were taken to safe places.
