Art performance in An Giang promotes Cambodian culture

An art performance programme was organised in Long Xuyen city in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang on November 21 as part of the Cambodia Culture Week 2019 in Vietnam.

The programme gathered over 50 artists from the Cambodian National Art Troupe, who performed 14 items featuring traditional unique cultural identities of the nation.
The event helped residents in An Giang in particular and Vietnamese people understand more about the diversity of Cambodian culture.
The Cambodia Culture Week 2019 in Vietnam is an important activity to implement the culture and art cooperation plan in 2018-2022 between the two countries, contributing to the enhancement of the Vietnam-Cambodia friendship.
In recent years, regular culture exchange activities between the two countries have helped enhance mutual understanding between the two people.
The Cambodia Culture Week 2019 is taking place in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho and province of An Giang from November 18-23.
