A delegation from the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (Amcham Singapore) came to Ho Chi Minh City to search for investment opportunities on Wednesday.
Led by American Ambassador in Singapore David Adelman, the delegation was received by the city People’s Committee Chairman Le Hoang Quan.
Mr. Quan introduced them about the city’s economic condition and revealed fields, which the city encourages investment, including water supply, traffic infrastructure and subway.
Foreign sector would have advantageous conditions to invest and do business in HCMC, he said.
Mr. Adelman said that Amcham Singapore has over 700 companies with more than 4,000 entrepreneurs operating in various fields. The US companies have paid much attention to Vietnamese market, most of them appreciate Vietnam’s development potential.
