The gold medals belonged to Pham Thi Nhu Quynh (the women’s cross country mountainbike), Nguyen Duc Hoa- Hai Yen (dancesport’s quickstep), Minh Truong- Nha Uyen (dancesport), Vuong Thi Huyen (the women’s 45 kilogram-weightlifting), Lai Gia Thanh (the men’s 55 kilogram- weightlifting), Tran Thuong and Hoang Thi Tinh (Kurash), Vu Thi Thanh Binh, Dao Thi Hong Nhung and Nguyen Thi Cam Nhi (martial art of stick).
With the achievement, Vietnam currently finished the second at the medal tally of SEA Games 30, following by Thailand (five gold medals), Malaysia (four gold medals) and Singapore (five gold medals).
The host country- Philippines ranks the first at the medal tally with 22 gold, 12 silver and nine bronze medals.
