Uninterrupted hot weather hits nationwide

According to the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center, an additional hot wave is predicted to experience on the large scale in the country from May 7- 8, causing thunderstorm and cyclone at night.

In the afternoon yesterday, around 35- 37 degrees Celsius hot weather shouldered over the northwestern provinces from Nghe An to Phu Yen, some place was up to 37 degrees Celsius such as moutainous districts of Muong La, Ma River, Son La’s Yen Chau, Hoa Binh’s Mai Chau, Nghe An’s Quy Hop, Con Cuong, Vinh, Quang Binh’s Ba Don, Thua Thien- Hue’s Nam Dong and Binh Dinh’s Hoai Nhon.

By May 7, the hot weather is predicted to maintain in the area of the northwestern provinces from Nghe An to Phu Yen, and then it will expand in the northeastern region with the extreme daily temperature at 35- 38 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City is forecast to be sunny daytime with extreme temperature at 30 degrees Celsius, and rainy and thunderstorm at night.
