The name of the storm is Xangsane which means elephant in Laos.
The typhoon is moving at a speed of 10-15 kilometers per hour, and is expected to gust level 10-13 after it will make landfall.
The tropical typhoon is warned to make landfall in the south part of the central region by November 4.
Its circulation has influenced the south part of mid- central region and the north of central region.
It is noted that the supper typhoon in combination with a cold front will cause torrential rains in the south part of the central region with the rainfall of 500- 1000 mm.
