The National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center has warned of two new storms, the ‘Tembin’ and ‘Bolaven’ that are presently moving from the Pacific Ocean towards the East Sea.

Of the two, Tembin is said to be a super-typhoon moving at a very unusual and unpredictable path. On Monday afternoon it was located close to Luzon Island of the Philippines.

Wind gales measured at level 12-13 with speeds of 118-149 kilometers an hour near the eye of the storm by Monday afternoon. The storm is slowly moving northwards but could change direction towards west northwest in the next one or two days.

The second storm ‘Bolaven’ is also moving towards the East Sea from the Pacific Ocean.

Bolaven intensified from a tropical low pressure system to become the 15th storm on the Pacific Ocean this year.

On Monday afternoon, Bolaven was moving north northwest and may gain in strength from its present level 8 and speed of 62-74 kilometers an hour.
