Two outstanding competitions in Group A and B between Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore entered the football finals on December 19.
In the football match between Indonesia and Malaysia, Indonesia was a draw with Malaysia at 1-1 after 120 minutes. To go through to the finals, Indonesia and Malaysia had to enter two extra-time matches.
After the two extra-time matches, the two teams continued to enter penalty shoots. Indonesia will now attend the men’s football final after losing to Malaysia.
In the football match between Thailand and Singapore, Thailand beat Singapore 1-0.
Thailand will meet Singapore in the final round in order to win the championship at the 27th SEA Games which will take place at 8pm on December 21.
