A new storm named ‘Kalmaegi’ is moving towards East Sea, reported by the Central Meteorology Hydrology Forecast Center on September 12.
Yesterday, the storm was located at 13, 7 degrees north latitude and 130, 8 degrees east longitude, about 730 kilometers east of central territorial water of Philippines. The storm sustained wind speeds of level 8-10.
In the 24 next hours, the storm is forecast to move between westwards and west northwestwards at 15-20 kilometers per hour.
According to forecast weather, by September 13, the storm enters at 14, 9 degrees north latitude and 126,8 degrees east longitude, about 540 kilometers in southeastwards of Luzon Island (Philippines) with the strongest wind speed of level 8-11.
On September 14, Kalmaegi will sweep through Philippines’s Luzon Island and enter in the area of East Sea with wind speeds of level 11-12.
The Central Meteorology Hydrology Forecast Center announced that Kalmaegi is a strong storm with complicated direction therefore people should keep close watch to cope with the storm.
