Many overseas Vietnamese singers have returned home for Tet and will perform during the country’s biggest holiday.

Singers such as Le Thu, Duc Huy, Tuan Ngoc, Khanh Ha, Thai Chau, Bich Chieu, Kim Anh, Ai Van and Nhat Ha, amongst others, will not only enjoy a warm holiday with family, but also have a chance to take part in New Year’s celebrations.
Overseas singers Tommy Ngo, Lynda Trang Dai, Thanh Ha, Phi Nhung and Mai Quoc Huy will be perform on stage together with local acts, such as Phuong Thanh, Dan Truong, Mat troi moi (New sun) band, Toc Tien at Rang Dong Music Center’s concert, ‘The melody of the spring’. This will take place at Trong Dong music club in HCM City January 15.
Rang Dong will also collaborate with Tran Huu Trang cai luong Theater to hold a musical performance, ‘Night of Lanterns,’ at Hung Dao Theater January 22 to raise funds for disadvantaged artistes and people for Tet.
Tommy Ngo and Lynda Trang Dai will also perform at Khong Ten music club January 18-19, Phi Nhung will perform on the 20th and veteran singer Thai Chau January 26 and 27.
Meanwhile Ai Van has chosen Van Nghe music club to sing her favorite songs January 18. Singer Le Thu will appear on the same stage January 26 and 27. A show featuring well-known love songs performed by Bich Chieu, Khanh Ha and Tuan Ngoc will be held at this venue January 28 and 29.
Khanh Ha and Tuan Ngoc will also participate in a gala dinner organized by the ACE Life Vietnam Insurance Corporation at Sheraton Hotel January 18.
A small show of musicians and singer Duc Huy will take place at Ho Guom Xanh music club in Ha Noi on Tet Eve, January 25. He then will tour Hai Phong City and Binh Thuan Province’s Phan Thiet City over the following days. “I am so happy to enjoy Tet in my homeland” he said.
It is expected that local audiences will be treated to many gigs by overseas Vietnamese singers during the Tet holidays.
