The Northern and North Central Provinces will face dry weather conditions till end of this year, with more cold and foggy days ahead, according to the National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center.
Humidity has decreased, which allows the dry weather to be a risk for fires in residential areas. Besides this, many forest areas are on alert as well.
In the Central Provinces, the humidity has also decreased and according to weather forecasts, a new cold air mass will move towards Northern Vietnam by December 5.
Due to its effect, the dry weather will continue to prevail for the next 3-4 days in the Northern and Central Provinces.
High tide floodwaters will affect river systems in the Southern Provinces, including rising water levels in Ho Chi Minh City that may reach upto 1.68 meters by December 5.
According to the latest information sent by the Hydro Meteorological Station in the Southern Region, water levels were at 1.63 meters in Phu An Station in Nha Be District on morning of December 3.
Due to this, high tide floodwaters will inundate many roads of district 2, 6,8 and Binh Thanh, Binh Tan district in the City, causing great inconvenience to local residents.
