According to the department’s report, the city has 180 projects approved in the annual land use plan from 2015-2018 in districts with the total area of 812.9 hectares but they have yet to be implemented.
Of these, District 10 has 22 projects, Binh Chanh has 17, District 9 has 15 , Thu Duc has 13 and District 6 has 12 projects.
They have been long delayed because there have been no investors; land use purposes, plan and road boundary have been changed; they have been short of funds or met difficulties in site clearance; investors are unqualified or unexperienced to implement projects.
