A high-range firework display will be set off from Thu Thiem tunnel in District 2.
Six low-range firework displays will be organized in Dam Sen Cultural Park in District 11, Ben Duoc Memorial Temple in Cu Chi District, Nga Ba Giong War Martyr Monuments in Hoc Mon District, Can Gio District’s Stadium, Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park in Nha Be District and Kenton Node Hotel Complex in Nha Be District.
The People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to ask Police and Transport departments to control traffic and prohibit vehicles from entering the areas.
The 15-minute firework displays will begin at midnight on New Year’s Eve and be broadcast live on Ho Chi Minh Television.
