To meet travel demand between Ho Chi Minh City and the central city of Nha Trang during the upcoming holidays in late April, Sai Gon Railway Station will add 11 more train trips, Nguyen Van Thanh, the station’s deputy head said April 1.

The added trips will be able to accommodate an additional 7,000 travelers.
The holidays include the Hung Kings’ death anniversary on April 23, Vietnam Reunification Day on April 30, and Labor Day on May 1.
Travelers can purchase tickets from the station in District 3 or otherwise call 08-3843-6528 for free home delivery of tickets.
Travel agencies in HCMC said that because the April 30 holiday falls on a Friday this year, the number of passengers registering to travel domestically and abroad has skyrocketed.
Saigontourist Holding Company said that over 5,000 people have registered for tours during the upcoming holidays, 20 percent higher than the same period last year.
