HCMC & Japan cooperate in urban development

At the meeting, chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong highly appreciated Japan's urban development projects as it brought balance for people’s benefit and environment protection; and he desired that Ho Chi Minh City, other localities and the Japanese enterprises would have more cooperation opportunities in the fields of urban development in the coming time. 

The city leader hoped the workshop on urban embellishment and development under co-organization of the Japanese Conference for overseas Development of Eco-cities and the Ho Chi Minh City Real Estate Association on March 3 will create cooperation opportunities between both sides in near future. 

J-CODE chairman Keiji Kimura thanked attention of the city leaders and shared  difficulties and challenges that the city has been facing in the development process such as population, traffic and environmental protection affirming that Japan would be ready for exchanging experiences with the partner in solving the above-mentioned difficulties and challenges.
