The event aims to honor women who have overcome obstacles in life and are actively working, creative and innovative at work as well as build a successful and happy family life.
Speaking at the event, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee cum Vice Chairman of the Central Council for Emulation and Reward Tran Thanh Man said that with 19 million members, the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) plays an important role in gathering, uniting and mobilizing women nationwide to participate in the implementation of tasks for economic and social development, national building and protection.
He asked the VWU to pay attention to the poor and women in remote areas.
