German musician promotes Vietnamese music

Jan Hagenkoetter, a German record collector and DJ, will release an album of Vietnamese alternative/rock/soul music pre 1975 and travel to Vietnam for performances to introduce the album in major cities from March 17-25.

The artist will be on stage together with the Saigon Soul Revival band and DJs.

The concert is expected to give an impression of this kind of music to music lovers and show audiences a part of country’s history and culture that had almost disappeared.

The shows will take place at La Fenetre Soleil in Ho Chi Minh City on March 17; at Waterfront in the central coastal city of Da Nang on March 24; and at Hanoi Rock City on March 25.
