This afternoon September 7, prolonged rains continue hitting the northern mountainous region and the central region from Thanh Hoa province to Quang Binh Province.
On September 8 to 9, the northern central provinces of Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh will experience the flooding from the upstream section of local rivers and flash floods may occur in the region.
The center warned the weather nationwide in this year’s winter season will see rains however the average rainfall is forecast to be less than previous years while the Southern provinces will see drought.
