Fishing boat sunk due to big waves in Ba Ria- Vung Tau

A fishing boat carrying three fishmen was sunk around 150 nautical miles southeastern territorial water of Con Dao by big wave and strong wind yesterday amid a low tropical pressure, reported border police of Ba Ria- Vung Tau province this morning.

Fortunately, the workers were rescued and taken to the mainland.

On the same day, 107 fishing boats with 902 fishermen of Kien Giang and Binh Thuan run out off damaged zone in Ba Ria- Vung Tau to avoid the tropical low pressure.

As soon as the depression was weakened, the province allowed fishing vessels going out to sea this morning.
