The Danang Department of Tourism said that the city welcomed a huge number of local and international visitors during a three day Tet holiday with more than 260,523 people, an increase of 17.3 percent compared to last year.
Of these, international visitors reached 103,482, an increase of 30.6 percent and local visitors up to 157,041, an increase of 9.9 percent.
International visitors are mostly from China, Korea and Japan.
From the second and fourth day of the lunar New Year, visitors who registered to stay at five star resorts and villas in the coastal city of Danang such as Premier Village, Furama, Fusion Maia, Pullman, Crowne Plaza, Hyatt... reached 95 to 100 percent.
