Visitors could have a chance to enjoy scuba diving, tours of Son Tra peninsula, join a swimming competition, and watch night skies by telescopes, among others.
Head of the management board for Son Tra peninsula and Da Nang beaches Nguyen Duc Vu said the annual activity aims to introduce new tourism services during April 30 – May 1 holiday, thus raising public awareness of sea and island environment protection.
Last year, the city was ranked the second most popular destination for solo or couple travellers, reported the Republic of Korea’s Ticket Monster Inc. Da Nang was also described as the best place to live in Vietnam.
