A tropical low pressure off central Vietnam has changed direction but will cause torrential rains in central provinces, the national weather bureau said November 13.
The bureau said the low pressure system located at 12.9-13.9 degrees north latitude and 110.6-111.6 degrees east longitude, which is about 200 kilometres east of Quang Ngai - Binh Dinh coast.
Strongest wind level near the system centre is at six, with gusts up to 7-8.
The depression is forecasted to move westward at ten kilometres per hour.
Meanwhile, a cold air mass is moving to the north. It would cause heavy rain and cold weather in the north since November 15.
In the northern mountain regions, temperature will to be at 7-9 Celsius degree.
