Can Tho- Da Lat air route opened

A new air route from Mekong Delta  city of Can Tho to Highland Central city of Da Lat was opened yesterday at Can Tho International Airport after an ATR 72 airplane had experimented successfully from Da Lat city to Can Tho airport for the first time.

The new airline will operate two flights a week during three months.

The new flight route was exploited by Vietravel Tourist Company and the Vietnam Air Service Company (Vasco), aiming to promote tourism and trade relations between the Mekong Delta and the Central Highlands’ city.

On the same day, Vietnam Aviation Corporation (VNA) announced that HCMC- Chu Lai (Quang Nam province) route will be exploited by Jetstar Pacific (JPA) from May 19 with three flights a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Earlier, Vietnam Airlines and VASCO transferred this air route’s exploitation to Jetstar Pacific Airlines, aiming to develop two brands under one roof VNA - JPA of Vietnam Aviation Corporation.

Passengers, who have bought VNA or VASCO tickets for this route from May 19, will be given cash back or supported in booking replacement tickets for HCMC- Da Nang, HCMC- Hue, and HCMC- Quy Nhon air route.
