The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just organized a press conference to introduce series of special cultural and art activities in the city to mark the 41st Liberation of South Vietnam and National Reunification Day (April 30th, 1975- 2016) and the 130th International Labor Day (May 1).

Accordingly, the exhibitions and music performances will take place at the city center during two day holidays. A special art program under theme of “Victory songs”, and another art program titled “Building songs” will be respectively performed free of charge at Sen Hong Theater and September 23 Park tonight and tomorrow.
Many Vietnamese famous singers and elite artists will attend in two special programs such as elite artists Thanh Thuy, Ta Minh Tam, Que Tran, Thanh Ngan, singer Cam Van, Vo Ha Tram, Cam Ly, Anh Bang, Quang Linh, Ho Trung Dung, and music groups Mat Ngoc, Nhat Nguyet…
Moreover, many parade of art performances, sport, kung fu, dragon dance, circus, Don Ca Tai Tu Nam Bo (southern amateur traditional music) will be launched at Nguyen Hue Walking Street.
It is noted that a special fireworks to celebrate the national Reunification Day will be performed at Saigon River Tunnel in district 2, Dam Sen Cultural Park, Cu Chi and Can Gio district at 9- 9:15 pm on April 30.
