The “Sentimental Tickets” program also held a concert and offered workers the opportunity to make free phone calls to famous actor and MC Quyen Linh.

Fund director Tran Minh Trong said that the annual event aimed at helping disadvantaged workers to celebrate the most important festival of the year at home with their loved ones.

Most of the workers receiving the tickets this year were from central provinces that suffered most from the damage inflicted by Typhoon Ketsana last September.
