Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc yesterday received Thailand Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Mr. Manopchai Vongphakdi at the Central Government Office in Hanoi on his working term in Vietnam.
At the reception, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc affirmed Vietnam and Thailand relations have developed strongly in trade and investment sectors with the turnover of the bilateral trade at US$ 11 billion. At present, many Thai enterprises are successfully operating in Vietnam via cooperative projects.
Vietnam and Thailand are two among three largest rice export countries of the world therefore two countries need to strengthen further cooperation. Besides, both sides should create preferential policies in all fields, especially in labor cooperative program, added the PM.
On the same day, the PM received Malaysian Ambassador to Vietnam M. Zamruni Khalid on his working term in Vietnam, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc strongly affirmed that Vietnam always respected strategic partnership relations with Malaysia, hoping that two countries will continue to cooperate closer in the next time via Vietnam- Malaysia Action Program in 2016- 2018 and complete signing for educational, economy and trade cooperative programs.
PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc desired Malaysian Government will not only encourage its businesses and investors into Vietnam’s market but also create more convenient conditions for Vietnamese investors in the country.
