The Minister of Industry and Trade has decided to increase anti-dumping tax rates on cold rolled stainless steel imported from some manufacturers from China and Indonesia and reduce the rate to those from Malaysia.

The decision has been made after the ministry conducted the first review of anti-dumping measures on the steel product from the above nations and Taiwan (China).

According to the decision, the tax increase will start from May 14, 2016 and last until October 6, 2019.

Specifically, the rate will rise from 4.64-6.87 percent to 17.4-25.35 percent to Chinese manufacturers and from 3.07 percent to 13.03 percent to those from Indonesia.

It will reduce from 10.71 percent to 9.55 percent to Malaysia and remain unchanged at 13.79-37.29 percent to Taiwan (China).

The old anti-dumping tax rates have been applied from October 5, 2014 to May 13, 2016.
