Vietnam takes part in Japan Int’l Photography Month

Vietnam will take part in the 10th Japan International Photography Month in Tokyo, from May 17-June 10 to mark the 40th anniversary of bilateral ties between the two countries.

At the event, 86 pictures taken by photographers like Ba Han, Hoang The Nhiem, Huynh Van Nam, Nguyen Phu Binh and the Hai Au Female Photographers Club will be on display.

Ba Han from Ho Chi Minh City will present 40 photos of Vietnamese people’s daily activities, which has already received local and international awards.

Viewers will also enjoy the rural life in Vietnam in 20 black and white pictures by Hoang The Nhiem from Ho Chi Minh City.

Cham people’s cultural characteristics and Vietnamese women will be introduced by Huynh Van Nam from Khanh Hoa Province and Hai Au Female Photographers Club.

Nguyen Phu Binh, Ambassador to Japan, will give a presentation of the life and people in the country.

The photography show will also attract artists from India and Malaysia.
