A delegation of enterprises attached to the Investment and Trade Promotion Center of Ho Chi Minh City will travel to Japan from October 20-27 to boost business cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and Japanese partners.
The delegation will join exchanges and conferences on investment and trading with Japanese local authorities and enterprises trading in various fields in Osaka and Yokohama. There will also be a round-table conference for enterprises trading in IT.
Japan has recently become one of the leading investors in Vietnam, operating as many as 2,029 projects in Vietnam worth more than US$33 billion. The trade turnover between the two countries in the first eight months of this year was at US$16.3 billion.
