Enterprises announced that the retail price of cooking gas will rise by VND667 per liter starting from 7:30 am on May 1 in Vietnam (local time).
The retail price of cooking gas will rise by VND667 per liter or VND8,000 for a 12-kilogram gas cylinder compared to that in the beginning of April. Accordingly, a 12-kilogram gas cylinder will be sold at VND391,000 (US$18.6) to a customer in Ho Chi Minh City.
Gas enterprises explained that the increasing retail price of cooking gas had followed the world which stands at US$817.5 per ton, an increase of US$10 per ton compared to April.
