The 5th Vietnam International Electrical Technology and Equipment Exhibition 2012 (Vietnam ETE) and the Vietnam Greenergy Expo 2012 opened at Tan Binh Exhibition & Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City on July 25.

The displays will introduce a wide range of products using solar energy, wind power, renewable energy and other products and technologies for saving electricity, and solutions for managing and using energy efficiently.
The four day exhibition is being co-organized by Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN); Vietnam CIS Advertising and Exhibition Company; Vietnam Electro Technical Industry Association; Industry Policy and Strategy Institute (IPSI); and the Institute of Energy (IE).
In related news, a conference on investment promotion themed ‘Dak Nong-Potential, Cooperation and Development’ was held in the highland province of Dak Nong on July 25.
Local authorities have called on investors from various fields for development of infrastructure, high-tech agriculture, tourism and human resource training.
Located at the gateway to the highlands, Dak Nong Province borders key economic cities and provinces in the Southeast, such as Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provinces.
