Vietnam Airlines to increase flights for National Day holidays

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will operate more flights during the forthcoming National Day holidays, from August 30 to September 4.

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will operate more flights during the forthcoming National Day holidays, from August 30 to September 4.

The airlines will increase 84,000 more seats to meet the high demand on routes such as Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City-Da Nang/Nha Trang/Da Lat; Hanoi-Vinh/Dong Hoi; Da Nang-Hai Phong; HCMC-Buon Ma Thuot/Phu Quoc.

In addition, Saigon Railways will also increase more trains to meet the increasing demand during the National Day holiday weekend.

Saigon Railway Transportation Company will also offer a discount of 20 percent to passengers traveling from HCMC to Long Khanh, and from Quang Ngai to Hue on Saigon-Hue route trains from August 15 to December 31.

Passengers will receive seven percent discount on train tickets if they are a part of a group of 20-29 people; nine percent discount on groups of 30-39 people; 13 percent off on groups of 40-49 travelers; and 15 percent discount on groups of 50 persons.

Passengers who take a longer route on the Thong Nhat SE and TN trains will receive a discount of 2-8 percent from August 2 to September 4.
