VietKings represents Asia Book of Records in VN

The Viet Nam Records Book Centre is to be an official representative of the Asia Book of Records, following an agreement signed in Faridabad, Haryana, India, on May 4.

The co-operation will promote proposals from Viet Nam to the Asia Book of Records centre and exchange information between the two centres, the Viet Nam centre said.

The Asia centre is now processing the first Asia Book of Records, for which the Viet Nam centre submitted 20 records in the fields of culture and life.

The entries include the unique architecture of One-Pillar Pagoda in Ha Noi, the biggest bronze pagoda at Yen Tu Pagodas Complex in the northern province of Quang Ninh; the largest butterfly collection by Nguyen Viet Vui and sound imitator Quach Ho Ninh.

Vietnamese entries will be a foundation for selecting new records created by Vietnamese.

The first meeting of Asian record makers and other record makers throughout the world will be held in November in Viet Nam's southern coastal city of Vung Tau.
