Private carrier VietJetAir recently opened a new flight route from Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh City, adding to its existing routes to Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang and Nha Trang City.
Initially, on this new sixth route via Airbus A320, the carrier will maintain one flight a day departing from Ho Chi Minh City at 10.35am and reaching Vinh City at 12.20pm with the return flight at 1.05pm. The Airbus has capacity to carry 180 passengers.
On this inaugural flight, the carrier is offering discounted tickets at VND499,000 until December 10 this year and also gave away 500 health insurance cards to needy persons in Nghe An Province.
