Tropical storm to make landfall in Vietnam's North- Central provinces
According to the latest weather news from the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center, a newly- formed tropical depression in the East Sea yesterday afternoon was located at around 350 kilometers from the Paracel Islands with its sustained wind of 80 kilometers an hour near the center.
The tropical low pressure is anticipated to operate powerfully and turn into the third typhoon of this year’s storm season.
As forecast, the storm triggering a heavy downpour is going to enter the mainland of the North- Central provinces from Quang Ninh to Nam Dinh with a violent wind of level 7-11 at the midnight of Wednesday or Thursday.
This is considered as a very complicated storm with many changes of rotation and intensity.
