Representatives from Thailand Tourism Industry inaugurated their display booth at the ‘International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City 2013’ (ITE) on September 12.
Mr. Sombat Kuruphan,Vice Minister for Tourism and Sports in Thailand; Ms Panpimon Suwannaphongse, Consul General of Thailand in HCMC; Chutathip Chareonlarp, Director of Thai Tourism in HCMC, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the booth.
The display booth will promote Thailand’s travel businesses including Agrow Tour, Discovery Holidays, Donna Tour and various hotels.
On this occasion, Thai travel publications are featuring major tourist products and tours connecting five countries, namely, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam to visitors at the Expo.
Thailand received more than 440,000 Vietnamese tourists in the first seven months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 16.31 percent.
