Storm ‘Hagibis’ swept through the areas of southeastwards of Guangdong province (China) on June 15 after going through Vietnam’s East Sea area, reported the National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center.
Although the storm went through, heavy rain accompanied with thunderstorms still will appear in the Central region because of influence of the low pressure circulation.
Showery weather caused by southwest monsoon will spread in Ho Chi Minh City and Southern provinces at the same time.
Meanwhile, new heat wave with the highest daily temperature of 36-37 degree Celsius hits Northern provinces.
According to the forecasting center, the locals need to alert thunderstorms, cyclones and strong winds in the heavy rains. From June 19-25, the temperature in HCMC will reduce at 30-31 degree Celsius.
