The provincial Department of Transport has approved a travel company to pilot an project of public passenger electric transportation.
The new service will be launched on January, 2018 with 20 vehicle fleets each having 14 seats. Total investment of electric vehicle is VND6.5 billion.
These vehicles will travel in key roads in inner-city of Tay Ninh Province, in surrounding areas in the foot of Ba Den Mountain and Long Hoa Market.
Additionally, customers can hire the vehicles to run in the inner-city and Long Hoa Market.
Later, the company will expand service to all streets in Tay Ninh Province to protect environment and to accord with the province’s urban planning and socio-economic development orientation.
