He was speaking at a press conference organized by the city Department of Transport’s Zone 1 to announce traffic measure in Truong Son, Hong Ha and Bach Dang streets after July 3.
According to Mr. Vinh, at present two branches of the steel flyover have basically been built with one leading to the airport’s international terminal and the other leading to domestic terminal.
Construction units are rushing to complete the remaining items to fully complete the work on schedule and reduce traffic jam in the entrance gateway to the airport during peak hours.
From 8 a.m. on July 3, cars, coaches and buses in Truong Son street will be permitted to travel in the flyover to reach the airport’s domestic and international terminals.
Pedestrians, two and three wheeled vehicles, trucks and semi-trailer trucks are banned from traveling in the flyover. They can travel in Truong Son street to Hong Ha street and turn to the airport.
Those not entering the airport keep moving in Bach Dang and Hong Ha streets as present.
